Prior to joining Edge, Ian co-founded Alta Advisors, a note sale advisory firm, as well as ICC Associates, a mortgage brokerage and advisory firm, both located in Miami, Florida.  Via relationships with Banks, Life Co’s, CMBS Lenders, and Private/Bridge Lenders nationally, Ian facilitated the funding of $100Ms in cash flowing investment, owner-occupied, construction and note on note financing acquisitions.  He also previously served as VP of Loan Asset Management at Torchlight Investors, as well as Senior Asset Manager at LNR Property (now a subsidiary of Starwood Property Trust)  While at LNR, Ian was involved in the restructuring of $3 billion in General Growth Properties loans during the company’s historic bankruptcy; the underwriting, acquisition and workout of whole loan pools totaling $450 million; and the resolution of 100+ loans across various geographies and property types.
